cherublinga tiny game studio ♡ louisiana
lumia ☆ savior is a horde survival game. you are lumia, a very small angel with a very big sense of entitlement, and the heavenly realm is under siege by things that are frankly beneath her. she moves; her weapons fire by themselves at whatever is nearest; the monsters keep coming until she decides they are done.
every run is a fresh build. level up, pick upgrades, find the pairs that evolve into something ridiculous, and hold on for the bosses. between runs, spend your coins in the shop, summon companions, dress her up, or lose everything at the casino she insists is optional.
two ways to play
- ☆ waves — fifteen numbered waves, a boss at every fifth. clear all fifteen to win. the difficulty is a curve, not a cliff, and it was tuned by making actual people play it.
- ∞ endless — the original survive-as-long-as-you-can. it ends when you do. ranked by time survived.
each mode has its own online leaderboard.
what's in it
- weapons and evolutions — auto-firing weapons that pair with passives into evolved forms.
- companions — summon little friends who fight alongside her, and take them to the garden (coming soon).
- skins — dress lumia up. every outfit is a full hand-drawn sprite sheet, standing and flying.
- the casino — blackjack, slots, roulette, played with coins you earn in runs. no real money anywhere, nothing to buy.
- entirely pixel art — drawn at native resolution and shown at native resolution. no smoothing, ever.
platforms
windows and linux desktop builds, plus a browser build. steam release date to be announced. controller and touch support are not in yet.
screenshots
crops at the game's native resolution, because scaling pixel art ruins it. each links to the full 1920×1080 frame. all seven are in the press kit.
